ENGLISH TEACHERS

Sara

Suite à une large expérience comme enseignante de langues dans plusieurs établissements, Sara décide de créer l’Institut Neo en septembre 2010. Depuis ce moment, elle a suivi plusieurs formations afin d’améliorer la qualité de ses cours et de perfectionner sa méthode d’enseignement. Avec une licence pour enseigner l’anglais, une autre pour enseigner le français (Université de Salamanca), un master en linguistique et un certificat pour enseigner l’espagnol (Université de Genève), elle choisit d’enseigner sa langue maternelle, l’espagnol, et de transmettre ainsi les aspects socioculturelles de la langue. Actuellement, elle est aussi responsable de la formation pédagogique des professeurs de l’Institut, après avoir obtenu son diplôme de formatrice de formateurs.

En dehors de ses activités à l’Institut, passionnée depuis sa jeuneuse des arts martiaux, elle est aussi responsable de cours de autodéfense et d’aikido.

Thanks to her extensive experience as language teacher in different structures, Sara decided to create Institute Neo in September 2010. Since then, she has continued her education to ensure the quality of her lessons and improve her teaching methods. Sara has a Bachelor in French and a Bachelor in English from the University of Salamanca, a diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a Masters in Linguistics from the University of Geneva. However, she prefers to focus in her mother tongue and sharing nuances and sociocultural aspects linked to Spanish. Nowadays, she is also in charge of Institute Neo’s pedagogic education after obtaining a certification for training instructors in 2013. Passionate by martial arts since her childhood, besides her activities in Institute Neo Sara also teaches self defense and aikido.

Tanja

Originaire d’Allemagne, ayant fait ses études aux États Unis, Tanja est parfaitement bilingue. Elle a commencé à enseigner les langues pendant ses études universitaires en Linguistique. Après avoir travaillé dans les communications dans les Nations Unies pendant quelques années elle est retournée à l’enseignement de l’anglais et l’allemand à Vienne (Autriche).

Tanja prépare ses cours en fonction des besoins des étudiants, elle est une examinatrice certifiée et prépare ses apprenants pour les différents types de test et certificats d’anglais et d’allemand.

Depuis 2021, elle donne des cours d’anglais et d’allemand à l’Institut Neo de Genève.

Ursprünglich aus Deutschland und in den USA aufgewachsen, hat Tanja einen bilingualen Hintergrund. Schon während ihres sprachwissenschaftlichen Studiums hat sie Sprachen unterrichtet. Nach einigen Jahren bei der UNO im Bereich Communications hat sie dem Bürojob den Rücken gekehrt und ist zum Unterrichten zurückgekehrt. Seitdem hat Tanja viele Jahre Deutsch und English unterrichtet, zuletzt in Wien, Österreich. Sie schneidet den Unterricht immer persönlich auf die Bedürfnisse und der Schüler, als zertifizierte ÖSD Prüferin bereitet sie Schüler auf sämtliche Deutsch- und Englischprüfungen vor.

Seit 2021 lebt sie in der Schweiz und unterrichtet im Genfer Raum Deutsch und Englisch.

Originally from Germany and schooled in the US, Tanja has a bilingual background, She started teaching languages while studying linguistics at university. Afer working in communications at the UN for a few years she returned to teaching. Since then, Tanja has taught English and German for many years, most recently in Vienna, Austria. She tailors the classes to the individual needs of the students, is a certified German examiner and prepares students for different types of German and English exams.

Since moving to Switzerland in 2021, she has taught German and English in the Geneva area.

Manon

Enseignante de japonais, d’anglais, de coréeen et de français à l‘Institut Neo de Genève

Après une maturité gymnasiale en langues classiques, je me suis tournée vers l’étude du japonais et du français langue étrangère à l’université de Genève. Dans ce cadre, j’ai eu la chance de partir étudier au Japon, d’abord à l’université des langues et civilisations étrangères de Tokyo, puis à l’université de Keio. J’ai reçu mon bachelor en 2012, puis ai entamé un master de japonais, en me spécialisant sur l’histoire japonaise, particulièrement la fin du 19^ème siècle japonais. J’ai également choisi coréen comme langue optionnelle. Ce premier master s’est terminé en 2016.

Suite de quoi, j’ai décidé d’entamer une formation pour devenir professeure de langues étrangères. En 2019, j’ai également eu l’occasion de partir trois mois à Séoul, pour perfectionner mon coréen, à l’université de Sogang. J’ai terminé ce second master en 2020, pendant la pandémie.

J’enseigne ces différentes langues depuis 2016, dans des cours privés et également dans des classes. Je cherche toujours à m’adapter aux besoins et aux envies de mes apprenant. De plus, je garde une attitude positive et encourageante, afin d’aider à parler sans gêne. De cette façon, l’ambiance est toujours joyeuse tout en étant studieuse.

高校で古典語の勉強をした後、ジュネーブ大学で日本語とフランス語言語学を専攻した。ジュネーブ大学在学中に、、東京外国語大学、及び慶應義塾大学に交換留学をした。2012年、学士課程を終了後、日本語の修士課程に進み、日本史、特に19世紀末を研究した。また、第二外国語として韓国語を選択し、２０１６年に修士課程終了した。

そして、外国語教師になるための訓練を始めることにした。2019年には、韓国語を上達のために、西江大学に3ヶ月間短期留学をした。この2つ目の修士課程を修了したのが2020年であった。

2016年から私は、様々な言語を、個人またグループレッスンで教えるようになった。私の信条として、生徒たちのニーズや要求に応えられるよう心がけている。また、生徒たちが恥ずかしがらずに話すことができるよう、私はいつも前向きな言葉をかけて励ますようにしている。このように、私の授業では、常に明るく、かつ熱心な雰囲気づくりができている。

고등학교에서 고전어 공부를 한 후, 제네바 대학에서 일본어와 프랑스어 언어학을 전공하였습니다.

재학중에는 도쿄 외국어 대학, 그리고 게이오 대학에 유학생으로 공부하기도 했습니다.

2012년에 학사과정을끝내고 일본어, 일본사를 전공으로 석사과정에 들어가 특히 19세기 일본사를 전문적으로 공부하였습니다.

제2외국어로는 한국어를 선택하여 한국어에도접할수있었습니다.

2016년에 이러한 석사과정을 마쳤습니다.

그이후에는 외국어 교사가 되기 위해 공부를 시작했습니다.

2019년에는 한국어를 능숙하게 하기 위해 서강대학에 3개월 단기유학으로 공부했습니다.

한국어를 전공으로한 두번째의 석사과정을 2020년에 마쳤습니다.

저는 2016년부터, 이러한 다양한 언어를 개인 레슨, 또는 그룹레슨에서도 가르치곤 했습니다.

저의 수업방침으로는 학생들이 필요한 요구에 응할수있도록 유의하고 있습니다.

또한 부끄러워하지 않고 자연스러운 회화가되도록 긍정적인 자세로 진행하고있습니다.
